Alexandru Nicolae, born in June 5, 1977 in Sibiu , works and lives in Romania. He studied High School of Art, Sibiu, 1996 promotion and then graduated from Lucian Blaga University, in 2001, with a specialization in conservation and restoration of works of art ( restoration of textiles). This way he learned to appreciate the importance of art lasting, of identity and real art value. With the magic of fashion he first made contact as a child observing the carnival costumes, theater and ballet. This gave him an impulse to make his own fashion sketches. Graduating a four month tailoring course and then studying in private, tailoring and pattern techniques was his first real steps . He entered the remarkable world of fashion in October 2005 when he began to work as a fashion designer for Boulevard and Status, brands of well known and long tradition based on, Mondostar Mode company. There he participated at fashion seminars and most of all Premiere Vision Pluriel, Paris. Meanwhile he is also cultivating a private client list and participate in different fashion projects such as 2010 fashion calendar of Yan Studios and collaborates with the artist Alex Mirutziu in creating clothes for his appearances. In present he works as a freelance- his domain of interest being fashion design, pattern construction, tailoring, window display- focusing on his future own label, Letfashionrule.
